At the Badgers we are immensely proud to be one of only 70 Charter Standard Clubs in Worcestershire and 300 that have achieved the FA’s highest accreditation of Community Charter Standard. We strive to be at the forefront of their initiatives and a flag bearing for RESPECT.
The Football Association are about to launch a ‘rebranding’ of their Respect programme which was launched for the 2008-09 season. It’s original development was to address a clear build-up of behavioural problems within football, and specifically, junior fixtures.
Rather than focus on negative behaviours, by highlighting poor examples of role models, the new campaign, under the strap-line of ‘We Only Do Positive’ is targeting coaches and parents within mini-soccer and youth football. It highlights a new approach to the FA Respect programme that will see the FA focus on this important area of the national game over the next three seasons.
This campaign features a video that truly resonates, a must watch. It aims to promote and educate coaches and parents on their roles in creating a fun, safe and inclusive environment for all the players, ensuring they have great experiences throughout their football journey.
