A season of readjustment, incorporating new players, in a new league facing new challenges has allowed our u12 Saints the opportunity to bond as a unit, adapt to their surroundings and ultimately have great fun in their inaugural Ambassador Evesham Football League (AEFL) campaign.
The Saints have risen to every challenge set for them by their FA Level 2 team coach, James Tainton, sharing and executing his vision for playing attractive football in a competitive, but equally importantly, a fun and positive fashion. The boys have bonded brilliantly with a true team spirit, achieving their League Title going 5 points clear, at the top, whilst maintaining an undefeated league season. The Saints boys still have one more challenge ahead of them, their first ever Cup Final, having enjoyed yet more success in their Knock out competition.
Alex Warner team manager said “The boys have had an amazing season, they have worked so hard for their achievements and rightly deserve to be league winners. I see them week in week out developing and working for each other in games and training, they have exceeded our expectations. To get to the Cup final too is just brilliant. This will be a season these boys will never forget’.
Come and shout the Saints home, at their Cup Final:
